226 runners crossed the finish line at the 2022 Tyler Arboretum 10K Trail Run on Saturday, April 2nd, presented by Delco RRC.  It was a great race, with fast times (Tyler Fisher, 1st Male, 37:26) and Karen Gibble, 1st Female, 47:16) leading the way. The younger runners were not to be denied either…15 year old Jakob Riz took 1st Under 18, 45:50 and 12 year old Lincoln Narvaez (below) right behind at 46:12. For the first time in a long time a Delco RRC member–Fisher–was also the overall winner, winning the coveted “King of the Hills” award. Many other runners had outstanding performances. The three top males age 40-49 were bunched together, led by Muncy Templin (43:50), with Lou Donofrio (45:25) and Eric Mundy (45:50) close behind. Gibble outpaced the women’s field, with last year’s winner Stephanie Charbonnet (1st Female 40-49, 51:11,  over 30 seconds faster than last year!) nearly four minutes back. And the veteran runners, like Lorraine Jasper (1st Female 60-69, 49:49) and 83 year old Heidi Moebius (1st Female 80+, 1:28:10) put on a great show as well.  Join us next spring for the 30th anniversary running of this great event!
