The WDF celebrates the determination, dedication and grit of women runners, and this year we're doing it again cross-country style. Run on a softer, grassy surface that's kinder on the joints than pavement. Enjoy the challenge of the rolling hills and a single creek crossing. It's all part of the Delco RRC Double-Header, "A Day of Champions." After the WDF, stay and watch high-school athletes compete in the 47th Annual Delaware County Cross Country Championships--on the same 5k course. For the first time, we’ll be supporting Philly Girls in Motion, which is a volunteer driven organization that engages girls in activities that encourage fitness and good nutrition. In turn, the organization supports healthy body image, confidence and good decision making processes.
